amy took the deer's spirit to the forest of forever

made with 'the clay' smashed figurines, broken glass, sea gull spine, shells, starfish, drift wood and a cracked plate.

It was inspired by a story amy told me... once she hit a deer and cried over it's dying body... the deer kicked amy with one of it's last breaths - amy, so sorry to the deer, offered her body for it's soul to reside... I believe it has.

That is sooo beautiful! Shane your artwork is just incredible!
I love you!

Since you have posted my secret for the world, I might as well admit what I sang to the deer, it has stuck in my head for some 15 years:

Stag God,
I'll take your soul into mine.
We are one now.
We are one now.

Deer are so majestic, so graceful, and so taken for granted. People resent their freedom, much like birds - especially ducks and geese, which is why I believe people hunt them so vigorously - to try to steal their freedom.
