first ad for new book...

below you'll find the first ad for our new book and dvd.
as the book says, it'll be out this november... we're looking for places in the portland, san francisco and seattle areas to show the film, pimp the book, and talk about our take on the american condition. the year long road trip that inspired this book and dvd just so happened to be the 2008 election year... we traveled the entire election year talking to non-voters, angry americans, happy go lucky patriots and folks we thought we'd never sit next to, let alone stay with and even sometimes agree with.

I'll have more on this release thru out, so stay tuned.

right for who?

I have done things that were right for society, but wrong for humanity.

I have acted out of survival, but against my nature.
I have been pushed by the rights and I have been pulled by the wrongs.

I have compromised who I am inside for who I was outside.

I have said things when I was younger that I wouldn't say now that I'm older.

I have been called a hypocrite and have lived the life of an outlaw.

I have soared and I have crashed.
I have loved and I have lost.

I have thought and I think.
I have met the real me and for the first time I'm at peace.

mr. tad is a god...

so, I go to see TAD at the metro in chicago many moons ago... I grab a bag of shrooms and ask this hot bartender is she'd like to indulge, lisa was her name and drunken fun was her game and we commence to eat, drink, and get very merry... shonen knife opens and then, at like midnight, the usual headliner spot, a bunch of clean cut kids in baseball hats hits the stage... at this point I'm so stoned it's not funny... I ask the guy serving beers... "when's TAD hit the stage"... he starts laughing and says "dude, tonight's band is TAR not TAD"

yea, I've got a 2 letter attention span.

btw, the girl dropped me off at my pad and drove away laughing.
